With over twelve years of experience behind me in the home & office removal business, I have (as you can imagine) seen and heard quite a bit.

Sorry if you are reading this and thinking I am about to spill the beans on some poor unfortunate, who had forgotten to check under their bed prior to my arrival and had left something of a personal contraption behind. (No, that’s so not me).
Discretion is my middle name, well it has to be. Like many other professions loyalty to our client is high on the agenda because lets face it, trust in you and the ability to relocate client’s safely is what’s make a Man with a van successful. So there you have it, no real life exposures or tales of removal jobs gone horribly wrong, just a simple introduction to my blog on all things moving.

On the whole most man and van‘s these days are hard-working and trustworthy and can do the job. But that’s not to say you should book the first one you come across or even the cheapest. Phone around and give a full description i.e. Locations, Parking, Access, Stairs, amount of items & whether you require any extra men for the lifting. You may also require storage and like myself a Man and Van service may offer you this as well. More importantly make sure you have an address for who ever you hire and ideally a land line number. These few simple tip’s if anything will give you peace of mind when you book. 

I am hoping to add relevant useful information in the future on a serious level as to help folk move home or office with the minimum of fuss.

I had lived in London all my life and met my wife there back in 1990 shortly after she her self moved to the big city from Cornwall.So it was an easy transition for us as we were already very familiar with this beautiful part of the country, regularly spending bank holiday weekends to visit my wife’s family.

Being in the home removal trade and running my own man and van company in London, it was only natural that I handle the logistics myself. With the same care and attention to detail I afford my customers our own personal move was (even if I do say myself ) a cinch.

Now four years on I have replicated my Removal business here in Cornwall and still have my London base as well.This has put me in a unique position as I now have a regular run about twice month to London then traveling back to Cornwall a few days later.On these regular runs I am able to quote a competitive price to customers when moving between Lands End and London and even further east to Kent.
